This beautiful travel keepsake was a fun project to work on. The client wanted something simple and bold that would complement this piece. To create this look we chose a wide geometric black frame. The bevel on the moulding is sleek and modern and draws the eye inward. A crisp white mat that matches the hue of the paper gives a visual break from the dominant black and red in the design. The object is floated on a punch of poppy; we also used this red for the one inch shadowbox walls. The bright colour defines the shape of the object while adding an element of boldness to the piece. This artwork can now take pride of place on its owner's walls.

Fancy Shadowbox Moulding

Measuring 4" wide and 3" deep this is a mammoth of a shadowbox frame. The organic pattern on top along with the beaded edge adds elegance to the moulding. It would look amazing around a collection of pinned butterflies or a pair of vintage opera gloves and specs. No matter what the object this frame will draw attention to it.
